Project Officer - Environmental Education

Belfast I Salary: £24,479 I Weekly Hours: 35

The Advantage Foundation is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to join our team to assist on a new project as part of our social enterprise, Ravine. This role will support Advantage’s training and education projects, with a particular focus on the Explore Programme, Conservation aspects of the Ravine Project, and support in the delivery other community engagement projects at Ravine.

Tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Support the design and facilitation of sessions and accessible workshops through the Explore Programme linked to environmental education and conservation.

  • Lead the design and delivery of a Conservation Action Plan, identifying biodiversity priorities and environmental enhancement opportunities

  • Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community organisations, and businesses to promote and expand the Explore and Ravine programmes.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about environmentalism and conservation, understand and value social enterprises, be motivated by creating community impact and have the ability to demonstrate Advantages values of compassion, respect, integrity and innovation in the work that you do.

The succesful candiate will participate in personal and professional development programme, including residential leadership events, action learning sets, and mentoring from The Rank Foundation.
