Project Officer

The Advantage Foundation is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to join our team to assist on a new project as part of our social enterprise, Ravine. The aim of the role is to establish our Patron Programme to help generate income from corporate partners. The successful candidate will work alongside our Business Development Manager to help income generation whilst increasing our community partnerships.

 

Tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Researching and identifying corporate partners for the Patrons Programme.

  • Installation of raised beds at Ravine to offer some of its land to various corporations on which we will grow a limited range of crops for an annual fee.

  • Maintenance and harvesting of plots for the partners.

  • Planning and hosting workshops throughout the year for the corporate partners.

  • Engaging and working with our young people at Ravine to help deliver practical work experience in our nature reserve.
     

You will be highly organised, at ease working within a busy environment, and have the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines. You should have a creative approach, excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and confidence to work across a range of platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about horticulture and agriculture, understand and value social enterprises, be motivated by our cause and have the ability to demonstrate Advantages values of compassion, respect, integrity and innovation in the work that you do.
